Bozeman Swing

​Bozeman Swing is a volunteer run swing dance society dedicated to providing opportunities for people to learn and enjoy social swing dancing. We focus on the swing dance styles of Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Slow Drag & Blues, Solo Jazz and all the other lovely forms of vintage swing dancing.  Why? Because all styles of swing dancing are fun and creative! 

Dancing brings people together in a profound and inspiring way. We strive to foster a warm, encouraging and healthful environment for all dancers so beginners to the most experienced of dancers can enjoy the playfulness and creativity that should be integral to swing dancing.

Swing dancing is for everyone regardless of age, race, color, creed, or gender...



Dancing Together is Where It's At!

A ballroom or dance hall is really just a big open space – the specialness is what the people do inside that space. That’s the magic! 

Our social dances are the main event, and many of us count the seconds until we get to dance with each other again. We like to dance with beginners, old pros, kids, mature (wiser) people, builders, dish washers, engineers, doctors, mathematicians, mothers, brothers, purple people eaters – you get the picture.  We like to swing. When you show up, you will meet a lot of people who’ve come to dance. Some of us a little shy or introverted, some extroverted and exuberant...one things of sure, we all want to dance.
